About Hedge Fund Ideas
Hedge Fund Ideas is a research surface built by SmartFlow Trading. It exists for one reason: the most interesting thing a hedge fund publishes is not its 13F, it is the letter that explains why the position exists.
13F filings tell you what a fund owned 45 days ago. They do not tell you the reasoning, the risks the manager is worried about, the time horizon, or how much conviction sits behind the position. Investor letters do — and they are public. We read them and turn each pitch into a structured, readable page.
What you will find here
Every idea page carries the full thesis, the key risks as the manager framed them, conviction and horizon where stated, and a direct quote from the source letter. Each idea links to its fund profile and to a ticker page that collects every fund view on that name. Nothing is behind an email form, a paywall, or a view counter.
What this is not
This is not investment advice, and it is not a real-time position tracker. Letters are periodic; a position described in a Q2 letter may have been closed by the time you read it. Treat these pages as a record of stated reasoning, not a portfolio.
