abrdn initiated Cohu as a semiconductor testing and inspection equipment supplier positioned for a recovery in its core end markets. The company is also increasing its exposure to high-performance computing, where wins in high-bandwidth-memory inspection and advanced handler solutions are accelerating growth. That combination gives the fund both cyclical recovery exposure and participation in the AI and high-performance-computing supply chain.
