Alger sees Astera Labs as a key semiconductor-connectivity supplier for AI and cloud data centers. Its PCIe, CXL and Ethernet products address the bottleneck of moving data efficiently between GPUs, CPUs and memory at rack scale, while hyperscaler relationships and a growing product set expand the opportunity. Better-than-expected revenue driven by customers expanding AI compute capacity supported the position.
