Arauca views power and the physical infrastructure surrounding AI data centres as a clearer investment opportunity than many highly valued semiconductor or software beneficiaries. Data centres require substantial electricity, land and water regardless of which AI model ultimately wins. Texas policy is making traditional grid connections more difficult and requiring developers to bear more infrastructure costs, which Arauca believes increases the strategic value of landowners and platforms capable of supporting private or behind-the-meter power.
